02. As a boy, he aspired to become a baseball player but also loved drawing.

I don't remember it myself, but when I was about three years old, I got badly burned by boiling water from a kettle. I heard that I was in the hospital for about six months, with my whole body bandaged except for my eyes. Even after that, I wasn't very physically strong, so I started swimming with my sister. I started playing baseball in the fourth grade of elementary school. At that time, I wanted to be a baseball player. After all, it was the era of "Star of the Giants" and Shigeo Nagashima.
