09. Moved from banking to the eyewear industry.
I left my job at the bank after six or seven months, and had a gap of two or three months before I started working in the eyewear industry in 1983. During that time, I researched major eyewear companies. I had done corporate research during my time at the bank, so I knew how to do research. So, I ended up choosing Iwaki Megane and Kimpo-do as my candidates.
