08. Looking back on the beginning of my relationship with glasses.
When I wanted to do a job that would be useful to people in their daily lives and bring them joy, a B to C job, the eyewear industry came to mind. But going back to my own experience with glasses, it started when I was in high school. I had trouble seeing the writing on the blackboard, so I decided to buy some. I looked around a few eyeglass shops in the Aoyama area where I lived, and rather than choosing a pair I chose a pair by choice, thinking "If I'm going to wear glasses, this is probably the place to go," I chose a pair with a double bridge, which was typical of that era. In fact, the glasses I bought then are on display at the Globe Specs Shibuya store.
