10. The all-camping experience will inspire you to take the next step.
In 2006, I ended GENERAL RESEARCH, renamed it ...RESEARCH, and started MOUNTAIN RESEARCH. One of the reasons for this was experiencing a Phish (American jam band) concert in the US in 2003. It was a four-day, all-camping concert in the mountains, about an eight-hour drive from Boston. The fact that 50,000 people could watch one band in the same place for the entire duration was incredible, and it was also great to see hippie culture in its current form. I also sympathized with Phish's stance of completely excluding corporate advertising.
