09. I wanted the melancholy of the city.
When I saw the Hells Angels in San Francisco, I wanted to take a photo with my Nikon, but a Japanese friend I met there told me, "They don't like photos and they're dangerous, so don't take photos." I later found out they were a gang and were under the radar of the FBI, and I was convinced that this would be a homage to Elsken.
