Whether it's fashion, music, or sports, there is a style that only each person can have in any genre. "Style is Everything." That's right, someone said that style is everything. "Style Resume" is a series of interviews with adults who literally have style. Updated every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the commemorative 10th installment features Matsutoya Masataka, who is known for his wide-ranging activities as a musician, but is also known as a lover of cars, watches, and fashion. Let's learn about Matsutoya Masataka's style from his words and photos in a total of 13 installments in June.

01. My favorite is Tchaikovsky, whom I discovered through ballet.

I was born in Kamitakaido. It was along the Kanpachi road, in what is now Tsukuda Park. In the old days, the Kanpachi road had one lane on each side, and our property was set back a little from there. There was a field in front of our house, and across the Kanpachi road was a greengrocer, so it had the atmosphere of "Tokyo countryside."

There was a piano school close to the kindergarten, and my mother apparently took me there when I was about four years old. In 2013, when I met my piano teacher for the first time in a long time at the age of 104, she said she remembered me well from that time.
