03. Get to know Steve McQueen from TV and movies.
My father loved new things, so by the time I was old enough to understand, we had a TV in our house. When a color TV came out, we bought one right away. At the time, many homes didn't have a TV, so people from the neighborhood often came over to watch. I only watched American TV dramas. In those days, movies and TV were the only entertainment, and I learned about and admired American life and things. Among them, there was something about "Dead or Alive" that really appealed to me.
