Whether it's fashion, music, or sports, there is a style that only each person can express in any genre. "Style is Everything." That's right, someone once said that style is everything. "Style Resume" is a series of interviews with adults who, as the name suggests, have style, and is updated every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. In this 16th installment, we will consider what it means to live with art through the life of Mick Itaya, a visual artist who has worked on the original logo for Uniqlo and whose cassette magazine "TRA" is permanently preserved at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

06. How to get involved in student movements.

When I was in my second and third years of high school, the student movement was nearing the end, and high school students were thinking about their own identities and the establishment versus the anti-establishment. The annual school festival was going to be called the "Prodigal Festival" that year, and I was asked to draw this poster. The school strongly opposed the name of the festival, saying, "We shouldn't have such a ridiculous name." In response, students barricaded themselves in the school building and held parades through the city, and these disturbances were reported in the local newspaper, and naturally the poster I drew was featured as well.
