03. I am impressed by the style of Western tourists.
One thing I remember well from my high school days was the sight of tourists from Europe and the US heading to tourist spots like Nikko Toshogu Shrine. I got the impression that most of them were elderly, and they wore casual but classy styles of jackets and pants, seersucker or madras check jackets in the summer, and tweed jackets in the winter. They also carried high-end looking luggage, which I thought was cool. I was influenced by the reality of seeing fashion that I had only seen on TV or somewhere before.
