I've talked before about how I admired the TV drama "Our Journey," but the patchwork jeans worn by Masatoshi Nakamura in the drama were actually made at Backdrop's Haneda workshop. So when I started working at Backdrop, Nakamura came into the store right in front of me. My world changed in an instant. One day, Nakamura was going to appear on NHK and said, "I want to sing in a denim jacket and jeans," so I prepared the first denim jacket from LEVI'S for him to wear. But then he contacted me saying that it was too tight around the arms and he couldn't play the guitar, so I went to NHK to cut off the sleeves of the first jeans.
