13. What I am thinking now after my retirement and return.
TAKEO KIKUCHI was doing well, but there was a period of decline every nine years or so. That's when I met Tadanobu Asano. Wong Kar-wai produced a short film starring Asano, and we made a commercial with the same pairing, which led to increased support from young people. Asano became the face of the brand around that time. In fact, I felt like the second Shoken.
