HANG OUT VOL.2TABIUCHI in AICHI part.2

Traveling in Aichi - Part 2 -

Travel gambling means "traveling with the purpose of enjoying gambling." Don't think of it as just a hobby, it's an adult romance. Well, in the second part of "Travel gambling in Aichi," we'll introduce you to some nice local bars you'll want to stop by after gambling, and the Gamagori Boat Race, which continues to evolve to attract new customers. And don't miss out on the "travel souvenirs" you'll want to take home with you at the end of your trip.

Drink

In the second part, we'll take you to some great bars, including a lively Chinese bar, a long-established yakitori restaurant, and a taproom, all perfect for a celebratory drink after gambling or to soothe your sorrows!

  • The stylish interior, typical of neo-Chinese cuisine, is one of the restaurant's attractions. Young female customers and couples are a common sight inside the restaurant.
  • Let's head towards the shop using the lantern and shop curtain hanging at the entrance as a guide. Just looking inside will give you a sense of the lively atmosphere.
  • As the restaurant is called "a popular restaurant," it offers a wide variety of Chinese-style small-plate dishes that go well with alcohol. The colorful presentation will whet your appetite.
  • The store manager, Mr. Kobayashi, and the staff are mostly young people in their 20s. The atmosphere is always lively and energetic, making for a comfortable atmosphere.
  • The soft-textured Taiwanese sweet douhua is a popular menu item at WaiLuo. Its mild flavor makes it the perfect final dish.

A neo-pub with a cheerful atmosphere.

The first impression is that it is a charming and stylish bar. The counter-style interior is crowded with female customers, and the staff are cheerful and welcoming, making it the perfect place to have fun after gambling. The three main specialties are the coarsely ground shumai from Wanhuan Pork, Mao Zedong spare ribs, and juicy boiled dumplings. Taiwanese dishes such as Daji Pai (Taiwanese fried chicken) and Lu Rou Bao (Chinese steamed buns) are also available. Although the dishes are arranged to suit Japanese tastes, they are characterized by their deep flavors that are made with fermented seasonings and spices. The menu in the self-service showcase inside the store is also unique, and includes craft beers from China and Taiwan, Morita's Kinshachi Cup, and Akaboshi bottled beer. It is also stylish to choose coffee shochu or domestic craft gin from the order menu. Then, finish off with "Wairo's" proud Taiwanese sweets, douhua (toufa) and panda almond tofu. It may seem a bit significant to use "Wairo" in a special feature on traveling and gambling, but there is no consideration there whatsoever. I was captivated by this unique charm.
