When you think of Sasebo, you think of snack bars.
It would be a big mistake to think that it's only Huis Ten Bosch. Sasebo, which became the town of the Japanese Navy from the US Navy, has a unique night where Japanese and American cultures intersect. Whether you win or lose, it doesn't matter as long as you can have fun drinking. That's what photographer Osamu Matsuo, who frequented Sasebo's snack bars, said.

Born in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture in 1970. While working on various advertising visuals, he launched the "Sasebo Project" in 2014, focusing on his hometown, Sasebo. His second film, "Someone's Idol," focuses on the nightlife of Sasebo. He still returns to Sasebo once a month to continue shooting his works.
